Support the Russell Tennis Club

Russell Tennis Club dates back to 1891 and has grown to be a thriving community club for people of all ages. Over the years its progressive membership has continually upgraded the courts to include all weather turf, fencing and lighting for evening games. It is now looking to build a small community pavilion. With regular social games throughout the week and occasional tournaments it is a busy club with its focus on camaraderie central to the tennis. 

What is clear is the club needs a facility where members can meet, watch the tennis, socialise and have bathroom facilities on hand. It will also be a much-needed community asset for other groups to utilise as required. The Club has almost raised enough money to get the project underway with resource and building consents granted, and some of the materials already paid for. However, we still need more financial support to get the build underway.

The more people who can donate a little adds up to a lot for the future of the Club and for the community.
